2013 Rosé |
Our 2013 Rosé is made by a using an old technique known as saignée (French: to bleed) which entails the early “bleeding” of pre-fermentation juice off the skins of red grape varieties. It shows off a jewel light ruby color with floral dry rosebuds, strawberry and raspberry aromatics. Flavors include pomegranate, strawberry, watermelon, raspberry with a touch of cranberry. The palate is light to medium in weight with moderate crispness, a perfect wine for when the weather is a little too warm for reds. ~Chuck Reininger, Winemaker
