2012 Cabernet Sauvignon |
Deciphering the complexity of this Cabernet’s nose is an adventurous, ever-evolving expedition. Black raspberry and cassis dominate the nose of this garnet colored Cabernet with a whiff of coriander, black violets, orange peel and fresh cut sirloin rubbed with a pinch of white pepper. Plum, dark cherry and black fruits dominate the palate with fine grain tannins that possess a hint of vanilla and dust accompanied by black olive, a scraping of graphite and bolstered by a hit of dry Chambord and sweet aromatic pipe tobacco. Excellent with a grilled well-marbled steak. ~Chuck Reininger, Winemaker
